Media City UK in Manchester marks an important step in the creation of the UK’s first purpose built media city, a hub for broadcasting and new media industries. The main waterfront building will be occupied by the BBC when they move 5 departments and 1 500 jobs north to Salford in 2011.

An Alimak SE 700 industrial lift is providing permanent access at E.ON’s Cottam Development Centre (CDC) Power Station near Retford – a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine with a capacity to around 400MW.
